Between stalling to finish writing what I call my “MOM post” (the post where I’ll talk about my mom’s passing and life afterwards) and just living life, I’ve been working on something and that’s starting my YouTube channel. Yes, I’ve finally done it!
I’ve thought about starting a YouTube channel for a couple years now, but it wasn’t until a year ago that I decided to consider it more seriously. Plus one of my goals for this year was to start a YouTube channel so yes I can finally check that off. To be honest, I’ve been trying to get this up and running since January but kept stalling because I didn’t know what I was doing editing-wise and talking to camera is pretty awkward. I’ve reshot my first sit down video at least five times over the last few months and got comfortable enough to get what I have below. I hope you enjoy and excuse my still awkward behavior!
Also in just two days, I’ll be heading back to southern California to attend VidCon once again. I’m excited to be going and actually feel like a “Creator” this time around with at least two videos right now to show for it. Below is my vlog montage of what I captured last year because yes it took me that long to actually compile some clips together. My descent in this YouTube creator life is becoming real and I don’t mind it and I’m starting to like editing as well. We’ll see how it goes.
As for now, I have lots of things to prepare for my trip. I haven’t even started to pack yet!! Ahh!
