Calm After the Blizzard

Winter wouldn’t feel complete without some kind of snow storm or blizzard.


When Winter Storm Jonas arrived on the east coast two weeks ago, it blanketed us with two feet of snow. I spent most of my Saturday in the kitchen cooking up some soup and then Sunday was three hours outside shoveling snow. It wasn’t until a few days later that I embraced the snow covered ground. I threw on a plaid shirt, a pair of ponte leggings, my new wool coat and some rubber boots to venture out to the park for a little stroll. Most of the snow was undisturbed that it nearly reached my ankles. I love taking photos in the snow. There’s something so calming about it.
