Golden Glow

The sun sets around 4 in the afternoon these days thanks to winter and its short days. That’s always a bummer, but finding this editorial has brought a bright spot to my day because magic hour lighting beats any dull and gloomy day.

Lighting is everything and also important. This editorial juxtaposes photos taken during magic hour (also know as golden hour) with ones taken in a studio setting. On one end, things are glowing while the other end is minimal and neutral. It’s a lovely spectrum of photography.
