Hello, Hello! Excuse my long absence from the blog. Within the first week of coming back from vacation last month, I decided it was time for a change. That change involved making my most personal space a.k.a. my bedroom more homey, welcoming and a place for creativity. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m enjoying the fact that I’m finally getting it done instead of putting it off for sometime in the future. And I’ve become friendly with IKEA in the process. To be honest, I had never stepped into an IKEA until after I turned 27 on August 13. Yes 27 years! I had always dreamed of going to IKEA, it just took me forever to go.
I’ve been to IKEA three times within the last three weeks and left with a bunch of things including the micke desk, ranarp lamp and malkolm chair (seen above). Since I now have a desk in my life to increase productivity, I needed to gather the inspiration for some minimalist workspaces. I may still end up with a cluttered desk, but I’ll try my hardest to keep things as simple as I can decor wise.
