When my mom was in the hospital, I adopted a bare to minimal makeup look. I honestly couldn’t be bothered with makeup at first, but eventually I dabbed on some concealer, applied powder, curled my lashes and swooped on mascara only if I felt like it. There was no winged liner in sight and it was strange, but totally refreshing. This editorial is also refreshing. I love the natural, no makeup look and touseled bedhair waves mixed with the understated beauty of minimalism. I think looking undone should always be this elegant.
