(ASOS jacket, Old Navy shirtdress, Steve Madden boots, Topshop bag)
The transition into spring is in full swing. My mind is still on the idea of a simpler wardrobe as mentioned in my previous post. So this brings up a question I must ask — What is more simple than a shirtdress? Nothing in my opinion. It’s a good uncomplicated and easy piece to have in your closet. And since it’s a combination of a shirt and a dress, that means you can throw it on for a quick outfit and still look put together. I picked up a couple shirtdresses recently after seeing them made in my favorite fabric, chambray. I liked that it was a straight cut style rather than a fit and flare. There’s also a cinched tie to define the waist. Besides getting a plain one, of course I had to get the printed floral one above. I predict you’ll be seeing more shirtdresses from me throughout this spring and summer.
