August is here so that means it’s time to whittle down the number of days until my birthday, which is a week and a day for those who want to know. I don’t have any plans in mind at the moment, but most likely it’ll be a low key one. And speaking of low key, this look pretty much fits the description. I’ve been gravitating towards sneakers lately as a quick shoe option for the summer and find that I especially like them paired with bare legs as seen with my last post too. Sure it adds a casual vibe, but something about these Converse sneakers made my outfit just a little extra special in my opinion. I didn’t think of it at first when I paired all the pieces above, but it’s like a fusion of girly girl meets tomboy. The oversized boxy crop top along with the sneakers easily balance out with the brightly printed high waisted skirt causing there to be a blur of lines between what one considers girly or boyish. I’d say a perfect fusion of these two style elements.
