I like to look back through time. I have a penchant for period pieces (like Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Marie Antoinette, just to name a few) and the decades. I think any era is good with me because each one has their own little quirk, but sometimes I have to play favorites especially these days when I can’t get enough of the swinging 60s. I love mod fashion, enjoy winged eyeliner and rocking some fringe. If you didn’t know, a bunch of the Spring 2013 runway shows featured black and white making the classic color combination along with geometric patterns a trend to keep your eye on. And so one of the big things I love about about this editorial is the constant clashing of the checkerboard background with another loud graphic print. It fuses whimsical, futuristic and extraordinary all at the same time and I can’t look away. I can’t look away.

Hope you all had a nice weekend! Also have a fabulous week!
xoxo
