(Old Navy anorak and cardigan, H&M dress, Wanted boots, Deena & Ozzy tote)
I’ve come a long way from wearing the puffer jackets my parents insisted on buying me to keep warm during the winter. I dreaded how often I looked like a marshmallow, but it is a relief when I could finally start buying my own outerwear. Though I feel like I’ve hit a few misses in the past, I did finally realize the style in coats I preferred. Let me first say that I was never a fan of the color green until I fell for military/utility jackets. I got my first fix when I bought a parka jacket from H&M last year. It became the perfect coat to battle the cold chilly winter. However, this winter most of the weather has been tolerable so carrying it around has been quite a hassle. Finding something shorter and light was key so the anorak above became the latest addition to my wardrobe. With a quilted lining that’s removable, this jacket will definitely be a dream to transition with when spring returns. I wore it unlined for this look when I went Christmas gift shopping over the weekend, which I’m glad is almost completed.
Have a wonderful week! Oh and I promise to have the cookie recipe that I mentioned in my last post up this week.
