Yesterday I began getting into the holiday spirit by decorating the Christmas tree and baking some cookies. Can you notice that there’s quite an array of ornaments? I’m sure most of them span from before I was born, but there are ones that have been collected over the years. Oh and did I ever mention that I like love to bake? Well I do! This year I’ve been focusing on baking from scratch more. Though I’m no stranger to baking fresh cookies, making the chocolate crinkles above was a little new. FYI look out for a food post this week since I’ll be sharing the recipe I used. Now excuse me as I bask in the glow coming from the lights on the tree.
