Hope everyone had a safe and nice 4th of July! I kept things simple with an abstract American flag crop top and denim shorts I thrifted the end of last summer. It was pretty hot and humid that day so even though I never wear my hair up, I decided to take the plunge for once. It didn’t turn out to be a real top knot since my hair is not long enough, but it did the job to keep me cool. I actually liked not having sweat (yes sweat… ew) fall down my face due to wearing my thick black hair down so I’ll most likely be playing around with my hair this summer. Besides experimenting with a new hairstyle, I got full on burgers and watched fireworks from my front steps with my sister. Good times!
