(thrifted chambray shirt, F21 maxi skirt, Old Navy bag, mom’s boots)
I tend to wear my skirts high waisted and with this maxi skirt, there’s no exception. I guess I like to make up for the average length legs I was blessed with – although longer stems would have been nice too haha. This day, I was attending a relative’s baby shower so I already knew I wanted to dress up a little but still be casual since I do tend to overdress sometimes and know by now that these family events are low key when it comes to the dress code. I pulled this rose colored maxi from my closet and paired it with one of my favorite casual pieces, the chambray shirt, and some simple accessories. Before heading out, I took some self outfit photos since I was sans my photographer a.k.a. my sister. I had not done self portrait shots in over a year so it was fun to try it out again.
