My sister and I spent our Sunday in NYC. We had a few missteps due to morning lag and also didn’t get to see the McQueen exhibit at the MET on its last day since its line was too extensive for us to wait out our time while there. We did go shopping in Soho that included checking out the Alexander Wang sample sale, where I did leave with one piece from T by Alexander Wang. Afterward we went to see Friendly Fires at the Central Park Summer Stage, but ended up sitting in an area where we could hear the concert since entry was restricted by the time we got there. Oh and they sounded amazing FYI and I can’t wait to officially see them live in October. It was a pretty successful trip though I’m a bit sad I didn’t see Savage Beauty.
The photos above are from after the concert finished as my sister and I walked through Central Park to find the subway. She chose to document this walk or strut with her iPhone so I had something to blog. Love my sister!
Oh and the shopping bag I’m holding is Dylan’s Candy Bar. Yes chocolate and candy galore!
