Patchwork and Hasbeens

I found this little patchwork beauty at a hidden gem for vintage clothing. Seriously this place is the mecca for vintage finds in northern New Jersey and for now I’ll keep it’s name secret. Shhh…

Anyway I had been on the hunt for a patchwork leather bag after I had found one thrifting a few months back and suggested to my sister that she’d like it. Of course, she accepted and I’ve been a bit jealous until now. Initially I was not a fan of it, but definitely thought it was unique, then eventually I grew to love the design and use of different colored and textured fabrics for the patchwork. I vowed to myself that I needed to find one of my own and now my search has come to an end. It’s much larger than my sister’s and has plenty of compartments, which is a thumbs up in my book since I tend to carry many things.

A new pair of sandals to add to my ever growing shoe collection. I am so thankful to have gotten this pair of Swedish Hasbeens x H&M through a giveaway from Dylana from Color Me Nana! She has an amazing blog and her personal style is phenomenal! Definitely check her out if you have not.

I haven’t had a chance to use these wooden heeled sandals yet, but hopefully they’ll be a staple piece for me this spring/summer. I’m really excited to style these with dresses and maxi/midi skirts. And to think that even though I thought I’d never win, I was very hopeful for a great outcome. Seriously finding out I won a pair left me speechless with a huge smile on my face. Thanks again to the lovely, Dylana!!

Have a great week, lovelies! I have a lot of ideas for upcoming posts so I’m definitely gonna work on them and set them up to post since I hate being this blogging slacker I am at the moment. xoxo
