There are days when you’re not feeling how you look from the waist down, well Tuesday night was that day for me. If I’m not comfortable with my body, often I’m more happy how I look from my shoulder up. We all know that makeup can make us feel pretty and though I don’t wear very much, it definitely accentuates my features (lining my eyes is my favorite thing though I’m very much an amateur).
Also that night I watched Blue Valentine with my sister. A movie about a married couple, Dean (Ryan Gosling) and Cindy (Michelle Williams), that have hit a point in their marriage where there doesn’t seem to be anymore affection or reconciliation with one another. The movie often flashbacks to the start of their relationship and some conflicts that occurred in their young love. It’s a wonderful romantic drama that reflects on issues of divorce and a scene about abortion, but also shows about losing love in a relationship. The ending is sad, but definitely makes you think. I would say go see it and I leave you with my favorite quote from the movie. xo
