The bag of affection that I am feeling is the hand held tote. Joanna Hillman, a frequent style muse of mine, first peaked my interest on sporting a hand held tote with her Phillip Lim Knack Sack Tote. Then the recent plastering of the Celine Luggage Tote all over tumblr and street style blogs on the arms of models added to my interest. The Celine bag embodies exactly what I am looking for, a large structured tote with a strong handle you can hold with your hands or hang on your forearms and can basically carry your “life” in it. As in terms of “life”, your necessities like cell, day planner, iPod, etc. and whatever gets you through your day. To me if I’m going to carry a large bag, I should be able to fill it with all my stuff. Though the Celine tote is glamourous, it’s quite pricey like many luxury items that catch my attention so below are some affordable styles with a similar look. I feel like I’ve been a slacker recently in the fashion blogosphere and really do need to catch up on my bloglovin feed (that’s what Sundays are there for). I promise that the next Closet Styling post will definitely be up next week.
