Around Town

Outfit worn Friday (8/20). Old Navy top, H&M shorts, thrifted bag, Naturalizer wedges.

It’s been a while again, but I’ll update you all on things. I finished my styling internship two weeks ago. I came out of it with a lot of knowledge and understanding of how styling works from the LONG hours, handling designer samples, working alongside a stylist and her assistant and of course the amazing experience of helping out on shoots.
As it so happened, last week the other stylist that shares the space with the stylist I interned with needed some extra help for two days and would be able to pay me! I mean, I couldn’t pass that up since I’m poor and my internship didn’t pay. So I was like a freelance stylist’s assistant for two days. It involved organizing her office area and doing returns, nothing glamorous or too physical so I was fine.
And excuse the glare from my glasses. I’m currently awaiting for my contacts to come in. Other than that, I’m wearing a pretty easy and breezy outfit, great for running around the city. As I take a little time to enjoy the rest of my summer, like reading some of the September issues I picked up (seen below), I’m also on the hunt for a job. Wish me luck!
