I’m exhausted!!! I spent the day in the city walking around Soho shopping with two friends. I’d never been to Soho before and it was marvelous!! We checked out many of the usual known places like H&M, Forever 21, American Apparel, Zara, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters and checked out some stores that we’ve heard of but never been to like Uniqlo, Madewell (J. Crew store), Mango and of course….TOPSHOP!!!!
Obviously we could not leave Soho without checking out Topshop! Three floors of amazing and interesting clothing and items to look at, but so over my price range. Why do all their blazers (I want them all!!) have to be over $100. 🙁 I did manage to leave with something though (I had to because I didn’t want to leave empty-handed) and that was an oversized men’s-like striped button down. It was about $50 after the 10% student discount (YAY! for discounts). That was my only splurge for the day so I most likely just browsed and drooled over things I wish I could buy.
So my outfit, I love getting dressed up to go into the city and I really wanted to wear that floral skirt again. I’m really in love with florals right now. It seems that everytime I’m in a clothing store I tend to gravitate towards the floral print. Floral print is definitely great for this summer and so is wearing white to stay cool especially when you have black hair since its a heating magnet for the sun which explains the white t-shirt and floral skirt combo. I also threw on leggings and a cardigan because there was a bit of a chill outside before I left the house.
Target tee and leggings, delia’s skirt, I Heart Ronson for JCPenney cardigan (belt worn around skirt is from this cardigan), H&M peep toe flats.
