Hush!! Hayden-Harnett for Target

Hayden-Harnett, Brooklyn-based label that is the latest to join Target with a collaboration. I’ve been excited for this collaboration ever since seeing preview pics of the line on NY Mag’s The Cut.

It was such a surprise when I saw a few bags already on display at my local Target in NJ before they officially come out on the 28th, almost like an early Christmas present for their shoppers. I thought that maybe they also put out the Thakoon early too but no, but that’s beside the point. I’ve got two bags in mind and together they cost up to $95, pretty steppe for me since I don’t usually cash out that much on purses yet though I do consider myself a purseaholic, I can never resist a good-looking bag.

The first one is a hobo-style purse that has a double handle action where that is a strap for your shoulder and one for your hands to grab. I’ve been loving how purses have this going on, but I wish it was longer like I’ve seen around to make it more messenger style. $44.99

The second one is a cotton tote. It’s pretty big and messenger-like. I’m most likely going to use this as a laptop bag since next semester I’ll be around campus more and will need to occupy myself with something to do. The craftmanship is sort of bad since it is cotton canvas and the one I saw you could see all its imperfections on the black canvas, but it’s not like my main school bag since I’ll probably use the hobo as that. $49.99
